The Buck 110 Folding Hunters have gone through three major productions:

The first production model was built on a small frame with small rounded bolsters and two scale pins [the pin on the top is a rocker pin that allows the lock-back to function].  This production also had smooth grind lines and a struck nail nick.

The second production model was built on a large frame with large, squared heavy bolsters and either two or three scale pins.  This production had smooth grind lines and a machined nail nick.  This is the model considered by most to be the heavy-duty workhorse of all the folding hunters.

The third [current model] production knives are built on a medium frame with medium sized rounded bolsters and three scale pins.  The current production knives have distinct grind lines and a machined nail nick.

All pictures are of the actual knife offered for sale.

All the knives listed here are available as of: 07.19.2003- Updating the site now 4/7/2008

Two of the original model tiny pins,  what is now the rear spacer is integral to the nick side rear bolster on this knife.  Brass has a couple of small blemishes.  Scales have only minor imperfections.  Blade has been well-used and is heavily worn with deep scratches.  I think the blade scratches could be buffed out but I would not do so.  A truly unique knife.
